Co-winning the Young Brewer of the Year 2022, brought a lot of recognition and opportunities to interact with industry professionals from around Canada. The award further inspired me to develop creatively and meaningfully. I'd highly recommend other's apply, and also have their peers and mentors accompany their submissions. Thank you again to the Brewers Journal of Canada for the prestigious award, and I'm looking forward to cheering on the newest recipient(s) for 2023.

Winning the branding of the year award was incredibly humbling. We worked tirelessly re-branding this historic B.C. brewery, and receiving this award was really meaningful. So often brewing industry awards are reserved for beer and beer alone. The brewers choice awards recognize other critical aspects of our industry, and truly fuel the way for those, like us, working hard to get the best liquid in the best looking cans.

We exist in one of the greatest and most competitive craft beer markets on the planet. Each Canadian city and province produce incredible brews and amazing taprooms. To be recognized amongst our national peers is an incredible honour. We will tell anyone who will listen that we are Canada’s New Brewery of the Year. The Brewer’s Choice Awards represents the highest bar in our industry, and we look forward to meeting the future winners who are shaping the incredible Canadian craft beer industry.

Winning Brewery of the Year has given our entire team a great sense of pride and accomplishment. We love what we do, and this award inspires us to keep pushing boundaries and experimenting with what beer can be. We opened our brewery because we love the sense of community and inclusiveness that craft breweries can inspire. To be considered a leader in this industry brings an incredible sense of honour to us and our community. There are so many incredible breweries across the country that we look up to and who inspire us that it almost seems surreal to have won.
